Obituary of Murray John Linton

The unexpected death of Murray John Linton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on March 30, 2022. Murray was born August 22, 1948, in Saint John, and was the son of the late Thelma and Murray Linton. He is survived by his siblings Elizabeth (John), Gwen and Phillip, an Aunt and several cousins. He is predeceased by his brother Robert. Murray taught for over 35 years at University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, where several generations of students and colleagues remember fondly his dry wit, enthusiasm for keeping up with the latest technology, and his love of teaching media production of all kinds. A private family graveside service will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, Saint John.
