John (JT) Sharpe posted a condolence
I was saddened to hear about the death of your mother. Vivian was one of the kindest people I knew and that's not an overstatement. She was warm, genuine and had a heart of gold. While I was Director of the Cornerstone Project, Vivian was a faithful volunteer on Wednesdays for lunch and she was well loved by all the children. I can say with certainty, Wednesday was my favorite day of the week because Vivian was coming for lunch with the kids. She had a life well lived and she was well loved in it, may she rest in peace and continue to find the joy she so richly deserves.

Michael, I am sending you big love and hugs. Auntie V was a huge part of my life and she taught us all how to have fun, never got mad with all our shenanigans growing up and taught us that friendships near and far were important! I feel at peace that she is finally reunited with Sheri and your dad.

So Sorry to read of Vivian's death. Knew her for many years in Sorority. She was exactly like she was described in the obit. A warm, friendly, funny woman who loved all she met.

Dear Michael, So sorry to hear about your Mum. You wrote a wonderful Obituary and everything you said was true. I was a school friend of Vee's way back when she lived on Prince Street West Saint John and then on through High School. After Graduating our paths diverged but I remember having lunch with her when you lived in Starlight village and she came for lunch with me( while your Dad played golf) in St. Andrews. So many memories of her and she was just a wonderful human being. A one off as they say. We of her generation are all getting long in the tooth and slipping away as nature requires us to do. A hug of comfort to you Michael. She was lucky to have you with her to the end. May she rest in peace. Sandy
