Obituary of Mary Lou Beckett

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Louise (Brown) Beckett on July 25, 2022. Born in St. Stephen, NB, on March 22, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George and Ida (Robison) Brown. Mary Lou was consumed with family history, and travelled to most states, provinces and several other countries. She worked her entire life. She was always interested in Jersey Cattle, country music, gardening, cooking to an extreme with over 500 cookbooks, square dancing, clogging, volunteer work, and always room for visiting friends. Trusting her old self will remain in everyone’s memory. Mary Lou is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Wayne Beckett; cherished son Ross Andrew Beckett; special cousins, Brian, Joan, Lawrence, Tommy and Marilyn; many nieces, nephews, additional cousins and extended family members, as well as a close friend, Carol Ann A private graveside memorial will take place in Harvey at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
