Obituary of Sandra Elizabeth Cammack

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Elizabeth Cammack on July 30, 2022, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on April 10, 1945, in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Opal (Kerr) Kirkpatrick. Sandra graduated from Victoria Public Hospital School of Nursing in 1966, and worked as a Registered Nurse at the Victoria Public Hospital, then at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for 35 years. On September 17th, 1966, she married the love of her life, Malcolm Cammack. Sandra and Malcom were best friends for 53 years. They enjoyed all the time they spent together, simply, quietly and without fanfare. They both worked fulltime jobs and enjoyed raising their family, which consisted of four dogs, no children. They both retired and thoroughly enjoyed the “freedom 55” lifestyle together. By Sandra’s request there will be no services. For those who knew Sandra, please remember her by her kind and compassionate nature, and if wished, do a good deed for someone in her memory. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
