Sending sincere sympathy Pat’s family. We enjoyed great times with Pat & Rick in our Small Group at First Baptist back in the 1980s. Dear Sean, Lorraine, Donald and your families, Pat was a dear sweet friend to our family. We enjoyed Pat and Rick’s visits, meals together and many laughs. Pat and I sang in the choir together at First Baptist. After church on Sunday, Pat and Rick and a bunch of us would go out to dinner and have lots of fun! We have special memories of Pat’s Ambrosia pie and many interesting dishes and salads she made. We enjoyed doing Bible studies together in the same small group. She was such a blessing from God to anyone she met and shared her life with. She was creative with her hands and I have a special needlework treasure that she made and gave to us. She dearly loved all of you and spoke lovingly about each one of you. God bless all of you and please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of this dear lady. I don’t have any recent photos with Nanny Pat due to living out west. What I do have though are many, many memories. She taught me English/spelling in my early elementary years and later homework before work. She also let me help her make many goodies at her little cafe when o was in grade 6. I also have many memories growing up at their home on Ambrose St in PEI including the time we mistook our uncle and his friend and hugged his friend instead. To be fair, they both had shaved heads and looked alike haha. She will be greatly missed.
