Obituary of M. Jeffrey Carr

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of M. Jeffrey (Jeff) Carr on Monday, September 7, 2020. Born on January 3, 1964, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Barbara (Foster) Carr. Jeff loved his family and he enjoyed planning yearly trips for them. He was always ready for an adventure and was excited to try new foods. His positive attitude and laughter brightened everybody’s day. He welcomed challenges and would always give every project his all. He was passionate about his work at Vestcor. Being athletic, he was an avid runner, he kept fit, and enjoyed watching soccer. Jeff will be missed by his wife Nicole Bourgoin-Carr; daughter Josée Carr (Jordan Townsend); sister Kim Britton as well as many friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. We would like to thank Vestcor for their support, Extra-Mural for providing exceptional care, and the Palliative Care Unit at the DECH. Due to the current health situation, there will be no visitation or reception; a private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
