Obituary of Elsie Mae Walsh

It is with sad hearts that the family announce the passing of Elsie Mae Walsh at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Born in Halifax Nova Scotia on February 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Gladys (Martin) Conrad. Elsie had a beautiful life, enjoying so many things. She was an active member of the St. Dunstan’s Catholic Parish until quite late in her life. She was an avid quilter, mastering the hobby after many, many years. She passed this love of quilting along to her daughters, Sharron & Linda. Her pride and joy, and what brought her the most pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her family and they will miss her so much. Elsie is survived by her loving daughters Linda Wolstenholme (Kerry) and Sharron Feetham (Jim); grandchildren Christine Arsenault (Mark), Andrea Wolstenholme, Shauna Herman, and Darren Feetham (Amanda) great grandchildren Emma Rose, Kira, Michael, Chloe, Ashley, Meagan, Joshua, Sarah and Hannah; great-great grandchild Josephine as well as many friends and extended family. In addition to her parents, Elsie was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Patrick Joseph Walsh. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. An interment will take place in the spring at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Sackville, Nova Scotia. Donations to the Fredericton Food Bank or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
