Uncle Lawrence was a kind and generous man. Lloyd and I were blessed that he took such good care of Meghan while she attended UNB Fredericton. My fondest memories are of the times we spent together on the North Shore. We had many laughs and enjoyed the "Camper of the Day" competition. Lawrence and I spent time everyday completing the crossword puzzles we found in the local newspapers. Uncle Lawrence may you rest easy in heaven. Marisa and Meghan Sweeney

My condolences to the Sweeney family..Lawrence was my first principal when I began my teaching career at Upper Miramichi Elementary School in 1967..I had the utmost respect for him..many good memories..he will be missed..
