Celebration of Life Next Summer

Obituary of Gordon "Cam" Cameron Flewelling

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Cameron "Cam" Flewelling, 64, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on December 19th, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Born January 24th, 1958, to Margaret and Lloyd Flewelling of Minto, where he grew up, then moved to Noonan then to his southwood home where he remained. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 26 years, Wendy Bolter; his two sons, Bradley (Jessica) and Brendan (Courtney) Flewelling; six beautiful grandchildren, Haleigh, Claire, Lily, Emmet, Aubree and Tucker, who all called him Papa. Also by his sister, Deb (Ron) Chezenko; mother-in-law, Verna, and special friend Bill as well as others.

Cam spent many years working as as a heavy equipment mechanic, one of the greatest at A.L.P.A, as well as out west in the last few years of his working career.

Cam loved a good game of Crib and cards with a nice cold beer and Lucy Lue was always by his side. He was a fond watcher of Boston Bruins play. He enjoyed his garden, raking the leaves and planting flowers outside his house and offering assistance to his pride and joys whenever he could. He was an amazing cook always offering something delicious to all who entered his home.

As requested no visitation or funeral will be held but a celebration of life will take place down at the Lake next summer where he spent many nights camping and growing up.

Always missed as a Dad, Hubby, Brother and Papa. It’s not goodbye but a see you later.
