Obituary of Eileen Gillespie

It is with great sadness that the family of Eileen Gillespie announce her passing after a brief illness on Monday, September 28th, 2020, at the age of 72. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Adrienne (Ron) and Jessica (Rob); seven grandchildren, Brandon (Molly), Haley (Matt), Aidan, Ireland, Dannen, Flynn, and Caelan; sisters Elizabeth and Joan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Eileen is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Martha; and by her grandson, Graydon. Eileen worked for the Cambridge Public library for 25 years before retiring to New Brunswick. She was a woman of strong will and had a compassionate heart for her beloved fur babies. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Elaine at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Oncology Department, as well as Angie and Tiffany at Hospice House Fredericton. The compassion and care that you showed Eileen during her stay has not gone unnoticed. As per her wish, a cremation will take place. Donations in Eileen’s memory may be made to Fredericton Hospice House.
