We were saddened to learn of Steven’s sudden passing.
Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the Curtis family.
Although we got to meet Steven only a few times, we felt we knew him well from the many interesting stories told to us by Peter.
Gone too soon.
RIP Steve.

The Curtis family was a very important part of my growing up years in Stickney.,his Grandmother and Grandfather owned the Curtis Store, His Dad worked there and delivered groceries around the community. We were never afraid to go outside and our parents were not worried about letting us go either.. We spent some of our summers swimming at the Stickney Falls, no parents present. His Mom taught piano lessons to the majority of the kids in the community and taught, Sunday School and played the piano in Church. In the winter we skated at Boyds Pond or Olys Ebbetts farm. Steven attended the Homecoming in Stickney as ago, we were so happy to see him and he seemed happy to be there. I know how much he will be missed by John and Peter. My Deepest Sympathy, hope to see you all in May 2023

Steve was our neighbor for almost 25 years and you couldn't ask for a better one. He was always sharing vegetables from his garden and corn from the market. He was kind to everyone and welcomed anyone moving to the community. He would tell you a joke and start laughing long before the punch line, his laugh was infectious. We are still in shock that he left us so quickly.
Steve, you will truly be missed.
