Heaven"s Gates must have opened wide for Annies arrival-God would have planned for her. We have known Annie for 60 years and her cheerful pleasant disposition never changed. I'm so very sorry to learn of Annie's passing. I still fondly recall the visits with George & Annie, in Rollingdam, many years ago. Both George & Annie were genuinely kind, generous, & extremely hard working Canadians. I value having known them as friends. My sincere sympathy to Tanya & family on Annie's loss.

Annie was my great grand mother. She was feisty, vivacious, and hilarious - never afraid to make a joke at me or my father’s expense. She was also one of the most charitable people I’ve ever met - not only adamant, but eager to provide hospitality for my sister and I on our visits. Although I wish we had more time to spend together, I will always be thankful for the time we had. Thinking about everyone in the family right now - although she is gone, her soul and memory lives on.
