My sincere condolences to Joe's partner and family. I have so many fond memories of working and interacting with Joe. He was a great therapy mentor, colleague and friend. He made a significant impact on so many people's lives (education and therapy) and he will be missed.

My sincere condolences to Joe’s family. I had the distinct pleasure of being Joe’s supervisory Athletic Therapist at the University of Manitoba. Joe worked with me in the clinic and our football full time for a year in preparation for his Athletic Therapy certification exam. He truly was a gentle giant with a heart that could not be contained within the confines of his physical frame. He shared it with everyone he met. The Athletic Therapy profession is fortunate to have had him as an ambassador for those so many years. My prayers go out to Joe and his family.

My sincere condolences to the Glenn family. Joe was kind, sensitive, supportive and loving. I am sure you feel his loss deeply. It is just today that I have learned of Joe’s passing.
Joe and I spent much time together in the early 70’s. I am so pleased to read that he did so well in life, and that he was so appreciated and loved.
Sincerely,

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We met in 1990 at UNB when we both started working there at the same time. We "cut our teeth" together in the then Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation. Joe had a lasting impact on the students, staff and faculty and will be missed by many. I regret losing touch with Joe after leaving UNB. My condolences to Joe's wife, family and friends - my thoughts are with you and my memories of Joe very present.

My condolences to Joe's family. He was a gentle and patient man with a great sense of humor. Joe did a wonderful job of working with our athletes, especially our hockey players during my years of coaching the V Reds. Rest in peace my friend.

My thoughts and condolences go out to all of Joe’s family.
As a cousin growing up and living hundreds of miles away from Joe, I didn't see Joe very often. But I did get to know him well.
I spent a few weeks visiting his family as a child, and much later would sometimes see Joe as he passed through Ontario on one of his adventures. So many good memories.
Joe was always very kind and calm, welcome company in any situation. He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. I had the pleasure of getting to know Joe while working in the Faculty of Kinesiology. I remember him as a very calm and relaxed individual regardless of the situation. I remember having neck and shoulder tension every once in awhile and he would take time out of his busy schedule to relieve me of my pain. He was a great guy and will be missed.

I only knew Joe through windsurfing, and that's a memory that must be twenty-five years old now. I don't remember how many times we windsurfed together, but it was quite a few. I do remember Joe's positive energy and his eminently likeable personality. He was a great ambassador for the sport and, obviously, most other sports. Fair winds, Joe, and my condolences to your family.

I have so many great memories of Joe from our bus rides together at UNB, talking about our favourite mystery novels or anything else that would come up. Joe was an amazing guy, and it was hard to overreact to anything around him because he had such a calm demeanour. I will miss you very much, Joe, rest in peace.

My condolences to all of Joe's family. One of my many memories of Joe is our trip to Montreal for Expo 67. We bought and drove a Triumph Spitfire there and back in September and October. Those two months had some exciting times, Joe's laid back style created some interesting incidents including getting lost on the 401 in Ontario while I slept. We drove the return trip in one stretch riding on sheepskins we purchased from a farm stand along the way, I still have it today!

My thoughts are with you with the loss of this wonderful man. My late husband Barney and I got to know Joe through his Investor's friends and he was always thoughtful, fun and laid back. This picture was taken in 1979 at our annual KTI golf tournament at Hecla, Manitoba. Always remembered. Nancy Gates
