Obituary of Gary Willis Jones

It is with the saddest of hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, Gary Willis Jones which occurred peacefully at his home in Hanwell, NB on June 11, 2023.  Born in Woodstock, NB on April 3, 1955, Gary was the son of the late Ralph Sherman Jones and Faye Olive (Shaw) Jones. 

 

Gary was a skilled salesman throughout his career. He loved to play and sing along with his beloved friends and family with his Fender guitar in hand. He was also a master craftsman. Gary could build anything he put his mind to with special eye for detail and a fine finish. 

 

He will be greatly missed by his two children, Sachelle Jones-Fidler and Sheldon Jones; two grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob Fidler; siblings, Marlene (David) Forrest, Maynard (Beth) Jones, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

 

Gary was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Sherrill Cameron and brother-in-law, John Cameron. 

 

A celebration of life will be held on the shores of Caissie Cape, NB on Saturday, July 1, 2023 followed by an interment at a later date at the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland, NB.
