Obituary of Rosalind Ann Blando Neufeld

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Rosalind Ann Blando Neufeld at the Moncton City Hospital on June 19th, 2023. Born on June 7th, 1972, she was the daughter of Lucena and the late Generoso Blando, beloved wife of Tyler Neufeld and devoted mother to Sebastian, Gabriel and Cecelia.

She will also be missed by her sister, Lugene (Jeff Morgan); four legged fur baby, Dixie; niece Ava, nephew Thomas as well as many friends and extended family. 

Born and raised  in Saint John, New Brunswick, she graduated from St. Malachy's High School and went on to get her BA (English) at St. Francis Xavier University and then to complete a BSW at the University of Calgary. She had a fulfilling career in pharmaceutical sales until she met and married Tyler and chose to be a stay at home mom. Once her children became more independent, she returned to work as an admin assistant at Massage Addict. In her spare time, she loved to travel, was an excellent and avid cook and enjoyed crafts. More than anything though, she loved to stay in bed on a Saturday morning and read a good book.

Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Moncton City Hospital for their care and kindness during this difficult time.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00 pm at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church, with an interment at the Hermitage Cemetery at a later date.
