Obituary of Thelma Elizabeth Henry

With sadness, the family of Thelma Elizabeth Henry announce her passing on June 24^th, 2023 at White Rapids Manor; she was 97 years young. Thelma was born in Charters Settlement, NB; she was the daughter of Clair and Edna (Rice) Charters.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Jean Lawrence; grandchildren Andrea (Greg) Tims, Joanne (Andrew) MacFarlane, Amy (Tony) Whittaker and Andrew (Diane) Henry; great-grandchildren Brett, Ellea, Chase, Georgia and baby Owen; step-grandchildren Amber, Dakota, Abby, Layla, Lyndsay, Lydia, Avery and Ila; son-in-law Ed Lawrence (Heather McDonald) and many nieces and nephews.

Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Everett; son, Neil and daughter-in-law, Doris; granddaughter Heather Henry; special nephew, Michael Smith and her ten siblings.

There will be no visitation; a funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, June 28^th, 2023 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 1224 Route 101 Hwy. in Nasonworth. Rev. John Sharpe will be officiating. Interment will be held at the Saint Mary the Virgin Cemetery in New Maryland following the service where Thelma and Everett will be reunited on what is their 79^th wedding anniversary.

For those wishing, donations in memory of Thelma may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Thelma’s family would like to extend our sincere gratitude and thanks to the staff at White Rapids Manor for the excellent care she received over the past few years. Mum/Nana is now forever at peace in her rocking chair.
