I was Paul's only female classmate, and remember him well as ever cheerful, ever courteous, and ever positive. I was greatly impressed by his career switch; was tempted in that direction myself, but instead became the prinicipal author of science textbooks for high schools in Newfoundland, Quebec (English language schools only), ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia. Apparently, graduating in Civil Engineering does not condemn a person to a lifetime of designing bridges. I liked Paul enormously, and feel enormous sympathy for his family members, most especially his wife. Jean Bullard, B Sc CE Class of 1961
