My most sincere condolences to the family of Leta Clayden. I had the very great privilege and pleasure of working , for many years, with her as a Docent at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Her love and passion for the Gallery's collection was wonderfully infectious. She had a special gift for making the art work come alive. I learned a lot from Leta and I will miss her not only as a co-worker but as a very dear friend.
My deepest condolences to Leta's family. I met Leta a few years ago, she was a lovely lady, with a clear and bright mind. Leta's great sense of life, humour and humanity will be a blessed star in my life.

Stephen and family, my deepest condolences on the death of your mom. I met her once several years ago when she visited the conservation lab at the NBM for a study tour of the textiles collection. I asked her if we had met before because her face seemed so familiar. She laughed and said "well, I'm Stephen's mother", which of course was why I knew the face! She seemed like a lovely person.

Ever kind and gracious, Leta made a remarkable contribution to the social fabric of our community, particularly through her involvement in the arts and her social justice advocacy. All done in a quiet and unassuming way. Our sincere sympathy to her family.
My sympathy to the family. I spent a number of years with Leta at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery as docents, it was a volunteer position that she dearly loved and in her soft voice educated many with her knowledge of the many pieces of artwork.
Our sincere condolences to the Clayden family - Jack was a colleague of Gerry's for over 20 years - the Claydens were well loved and respected by our family. Leta was the most amazing volunteer - quietly but effectively making a difference. As a docent at the Beaverbrook Gallery she was one of the best!
