Obituary of Stanley Johnathan West

Cherished Forever In Our Hearts

Stan West: A loving Son, Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather.

Stan was only 61 years old and passed away on September 20th, 2023 at his home in Wickham, New Brunswick with his beloved wife Ella-Marie by his side. Stan was the son of Lorne and Beverley West of Unionville, Ontario. Stan’s greatest joy was his family, he and Ella-Marie were blessed with five children: Charles, Christopher, Andrew, Lorne and Deborah, and a God - Daughter Elle. Stan was also blessed to have three beautiful grandchildren Mackenzie, Alexis and Quinton. Stan cherished the moments he spent with his children and grandchildren and watched them grow with joy and pride. Stan also welcomed three daughters-in-law into his family: Sylvia, Ruth and Natalia. He loved the values and love they brought to the family and appreciated how strongly they supported his sons and his grandchildren. Stan was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who always supported his family in their endeavours. He was extremely proud of their achievements and encouraged them to pursue their dreams.

Stan was also a kind and generous friend who touched many lives with his compassion and wisdom. He had a strong passion for music and singing. He loved a great meal with great company and often hosted dinners for his friends and family that were full of life and love and music and some truly excellent barbecue. Stan was a man of vision and creative skills that not only blessed and impacted peoples lives but brought them together as well. He took people into his home and family as if they were his own. Stan was always hungry for knowledge and learning and was a great teacher for many of us. He had the gift of encouragement and helped people see their full potential, he was a man of love and laughter. He was a great teacher who taught so many of us on so many things. Stan held a unique perspective on life and how to live it which is so hard to find in this world. He left a profound legacy that impacted so many lives to a depth that cannot be measured. Stan was a successful business man who founded multiple companies over the course of his life and always had new ideas ready to explore. His business partners and employees will remember him for his vision and his determination. He had the gift of encouragement and helped people see their full potential. Stan passed his hard-working nature down to his children and taught them the value of perseverance and innovation.

Stan will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, He was a bright light in our lives and we are grateful for the memories we shared with him. His children and grandchildren will carry his light going forward so it continues to brighten the world.
