Chris and I met when I started working in public health in NB back in 2005, and over the years it has been such a privilege to work with her, both formally and most recently through volunteer work with the NB PEI PHA. She had such an important influence on me and so many others both in public health and in nursing. She will be dearly remembered as a thoughtful, dedicated, kind and compassionate person - my most sincere condolences to her family.

The sweetest angel has returned to heaven. Dear Chris, We have always enjoyed your presence. You are truly the purest person we have ever met. I was fortunate enough to work at Health during some of Christine's career, and can say that she was a caring and compassionate person, that was a joy to collaborate and work around. Chris was my manager / leader at both Public Health and the ExtraMural Program for many years. Words cannot express the respect I hold for her..kind, caring,wise,hardworking and the list goes on and on.. Christine and I shared many interests, one of them being gardening. I am attaching a picture of her helping at the UCW Plant Sale last spring. She was such an inspiration to the group and to me as an individual. She was Vice President of the Keswick Ridge United Church Women at the time of her death and had been able to be part of our December meeting via Zoom. Rest in peace, my dear friend, I will miss you and all your words of wisdom you shared with me. I will feel your closeness in every wave I see crashing in on the shore line when I visit the sea side; I will think of you when the flowers bloom again in spring..... So many things we shared in this "wonderful world" throughout our acquaintenance. your friend, Love to her family at this time....she was a great lady, Marilyn .

My deepest sympathy to Frans, Jenn, Eric and their families. Your loss is so great and there are no words to ease your broken hearts. Know she was loved by many. I will dearly miss her beautiful, kind, loving soul. I will miss working with her on the many church committees and outreach projects she so generously gave her time towards. I’ll miss our visits, phone chats and sharing of ideas. I will miss her beautiful smile. Chris genuinely cared about others and showed me how to live each day with courage and grace even when the days are difficult. She showed me what faith looks like. I am a better person for having known her. She will be missed by so many and all who were fortunate enough to call her friend.
