We were so sorry to hear about Edwena’s passing. She was such a wonderful, happy person and will be greatly missed. She always met us with hugs, smiles and laughter, holding hands while she talked to us. We have many special memories of time spent with her at the farm, at family gatherings and in the sunroom. I will especially miss our talks about quilting, crafts and antiques. Love, Marie and Rick Morehouse.

So sorry to hear this news. Edwena had eyes that sparkled! She loved a good chat. When you heard “Well, don't you know’, the chat likely included a few laughs too! Loved seeing Edwena at family reunions at the farm and every time we met. She will be missed. Please accept my sympathy and take care! Love from Anne and Blair

Edwina was an absolute joy and will be missed by many. My favourite memories were the summer of 1969 in our tiny studio apartment in Vancouver. Paul's Mom Violet and Aunt Reta Merrithew, sister Edwena and beautiful cousin Dianne had taken the train to visit us. Still remember driving around in VW Beetle with Aunt Rete riding up front and us four in the back seat. So much laughing! Best visit Ever!

It is with a sad heart that I say goodbye to my summer visits with Edwena. I enjoyed her warmth and laughter. She had lots to share about her friendship with both my mother and my grandmother. Edwena was a rare gift to me in that regard. She’ll have many happy reunions on the other side! God bless her for her wonderful capacity to embrace and hold a spirit in trusted care. She was a beautiful friend to three generations of women in my family.
