I believe this is the same Matt I used to play an online game with. Lost touch with him many years ago, but I'm so sorry to hear of his passing, he was a great guy, friendly and personable and over the years I'd hoped to get back in contact with him to see how he was. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the Landry family. I am absolutely gutted right now. Matt was very kind to me in med school. He tried his tough love to improve my self confidence, he teased me horribly and contributed to my LEGO obsession. Matt was funny, snarky, smart but you didn't get to see all of Matt. I wish I had pushed him harder to catch up and now will always regret it. Again, my condolences and he will be missed deeply.

To Matt’s family and friends, my thoughts and condolences are with you. It has been a long time since we attended UNB and Dalhousie together. Matt was such an intelligent, kind and caring soul. We journeyed the highs and lows together as we transitioned from student to professional. Matt was always the first to put his hat in the ring to help and be in service of others. Matt’s creativity and flare for the arts was an outlet for his heart to shine. Matt is one of those guys that a puts a smile on my face every time he comes to mind. Rest in Peace my friend.

To the family and friends of Matthew Landry I wish to express my deepest condolences for what is one of the worse thing a parent has to do and that is having their child to the next journey without you. I worked with Peggy and we often talked of our children and their interests especially that we both had boys named Matthew that loved Lego. We lost our son Matthew 20 years ago this April and to loose a child that was such a gift from God was overwhelming. I know you have lost a son also at a young age but the longer we have the heartbreak never leaves. We live with our memories and carry on our traditions. We were Blessed to have our boys and they will never be forgotten…take care of each other, time will help but pain unfortunately is part of life and when God needs a Special he takes the Gift back. Our thoughts are with you and we send prayers…Lana, Ross and Lindsay Forbes…

My deepest condolences to the family. Matt has been a longtime friend since high school and our peer helping days, plus ELP, through university and onward. I will always value his friendship, honesty, support and sense of humour. We shared many laughs and memories over the years and he will be so missed. I will continue to have moments where I think “What would Matt say if he was here?” followed by a chuckle. Grateful that I had Matt in my life. Rest in peace my dear friend.

It’s been a long time since we lived across the street from each other, but your family has always held a special place in my heart. I offer you my deepest condolences. Matthew was a great playmate as a kid and he grew up to be a remarkable human being who was taken from this world way too soon.

My sincere condolences to your family.
Matt was such an honest and kindhearted person. I always enjoyed our conversations and time spent together over the years since we met in high school. I remember best that twinkle in his eye when he was ready to spark up an intelligent discussion, to offer a fresh perspective or to just tease!
He will be greatly missed.

To the Landry family... my deepest sympathy. I met Matt at the Pharmacy but didn't make the family connection. He was always very quiet when he was there. No chit chat like you and I would have! It is always difficult to loose one of your children. My heart goes out to you..... Donna Chauvin retired Pharmacist

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Matt. Although I’m aware that Matt worked in different areas of WorkSafeNB, I knew him from the Work Recovery Program where he still worked when I retired.
At the WRC in Grand Bay he was a doctor, a healer, a team member, a car-pooler, a friend, and more. I so appreciated his straightforward approach to addressing issues and problem-solving. It contributed to a better work environment. I will keep him in my prayers and hope your memories of Matt will embrace you when needed.

Condolences to the Landry Family on the passing of your Son/Brother Matt. I worked with Matt at WorkSafeNB's Rehabilitation Centre up til the time of the pandemic. I wanted to share a few examples of his quiet generosity. When our wellness committee coordinated a food drive he quietly dropped by my office with a generous monetary gift for the community. He also coordinated a special time after the closure of our work location by taking on the legwork of securing a venue, food and spreading the word so we all had a chance to be together again last summer. I know so many of us were happy to have that time together reconnecting thanks to his efforts. That was the last time I saw Matt and he seemed pleased to see everyone together. I'm sorry he will be missed by coworkers, friends and family.

To Roger, Peggy, Renee, Marc and Paul, we are sending our condolences and deepest sympathies to you all on the loss of Matthew.
My partner Heather and I have been next door neighbours of Matt’s for almost 10 years. We both moved in to our respective houses at roughly the same time and we hit it off right away. We regularly chatted outside when he was out for his break and us doing yard chores. Many times a great chuckle was had amongst many topics discussed. We also had a great partnership in looking after our properties. He would help us out in winter by snow blowing our driveway. We returned the favor in the spring/summer by mowing our lawns.
Matt also went above and beyond on a couple of occasions. Once in helping to do a quick roof repair and coordinating it with a roofer while we were away. Most recently after the big wind storm before Xmas, he went and bargained with a roofing group who couldn’t complete our roof before then to come on Christmas to do the work. He went and paid for it for us, with a return payment only requested at a set price. We never knew the deal he did but appreciated the effort he went to, to do this for us. He even often offered rides to/from nearby areas, which was taken some of the time.
Over the years we shared ideas on house renos, yard ideas, and common health interests. Even now when I go out and look over to his porch I expect to look up and expect to see him there and start the next discussion. Matt, you will be missed and were a great neighbour. Thank you for your support and friendship over the past 9+ years. Grant and Heather
