Obituary of Lynn Justason

It is with great sadness that the family of Lucille “Lynn” Justason announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, New Brunswick.

Lynn is the daughter of the late Gordon and Helen (McEvoy) Justason.

She had a long and rewarding career of forty-four (44) years as an Office Administrator at Teed Saunders Doyle accountants and advisors, working there until her retirement in 2022.

Lynn is survived by sisters, Barbara Webber, Geri Holand (Peter), and brother, Gordie Justason. Left to mourn also are six (6) nephews and two (2) nieces, as well as several grand-nephews and -nieces, who all had a special place in her heart.

In addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased by her partner, Paul McNichol, and her sister, Bette Hatt.

Lynn cherished the time she spent with her beloved friends and family. She was a devout Christian and dedicated much time volunteering and helping others. Gardening was a source of joy for her and she loved all aspects of nature. Lynn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will take place at McAdam’s Funeral Home, 160 York St., Fredericton, on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. At 2 p.m., a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan’s Church, 120 Regent St.
