I always enjoyed Jenny's sense of humour. I make Christmas cards from of photos I have taken. Early in our time in Fredericton I had made a Christmas card based on an image of one of our neighbour's garden ornaments deep in snow. After Christmas Jenny asked for an electronic copy, which sent her. I was surprised when later it was returned to me as a framed print labelled "15 of 50"!
She later gave us a small Christmas tree ornament in the shape of a Christmas tree which she had made. So in later years I made cards with other photos, such as images of the Fredericton Cathedral or local snowy landscapes with her ornament hidden somewhere in the picture.
We don't put up many decorations at Christmas, but the framed picture is one of the few and the only tree we put up is Jenny's little ornament.

My sincerest condolences to your family. Jenny was one of my fave “parents’”. Her sense of humour and openness were qualities that I admired. Spent many hours with her at the barn and at your most welcoming home. I will remember her always..

We were very saddened to hear the news about Jenny. Jenny entered our lives years ago when I moved to Guelph to go to College and shared a house with Jenny and Laura. We had many adventures and fond memories of those days. Laura and I have been sharing stories of those days. We missed Jenny and Greg when they moved out east. Jenny made us feel very welcome when we came to visit years later. It was great to see she had created a wonderful life for her, Greg and their kids. Though there was great distance and time between visits, technology helped us keep in touch. Our condolences to Greg and his family.

I always loved when Jenny popped into the office to say hi. I'd tell her about incredible deals I got on baked goods.
She'd tell me I overpaid.
A year ago I moved to Toronto for work. It was one of the shortest time frames to find a place, wrap up my life in Fredericton, and manage repeated delays with the moving truck. The evening before I hit the road, I realized it was a Sunday, and I wouldn't be ready. Jenny told me to go by her place. She had the contingency plan in the backyard.
Jenny thank you for the sturdy moving boxes, packing tape, extra markers, love and generosity.
I made it in one piece.

What a loss. Jenny you will be missed.
There are few people out there like Jenny. She was a bold and strong lady willing to always stand her ground; especially when she knew she was right. From her definition of ‘blue’ jobs and ‘pink’ jobs, to our conversations on who got the best deals and how we got them, I’ll miss our chats.
Jenny and Greg established a special place in my heart from day one of my move to New Brunswick. They were always there to help and thinking of all their friends. I appreciated the random phone calls to come visit and stay at their lake house, the yearly ‘I made the trail mix for your mom and the road trip’ and the ‘I have this item you may want’. Jenny loved to give and help everyone around her.
Thanks for the great memories. I will look back upon them happily and remember how big your heart was always. I am sorry for your loss Greg, Jesse and Mikayla.

Sending my love and condolences to the loved ones of Jenny.
I hope fond memories can make you smile in this difficult time.
I found a photo I had taken at the cottage of Jenny & Greg with baby Nico. This was during the pandemic after restrictions lifted and we were able to gather again.
I’ll always fondly remember spending sunny days at the lake and Christmas’s with all Jenny’s baked goodies and her fantastic decor.
Sending love and well wishes to all.

My Heart is Breaking!! I so, so loved my years with Jenny. Greg joined us as Prosthetist at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at UNB so many years ago. In common with Jenny was our life of planting and gardening. We would always call each other to let each other know where to get the sales. I will so miss you my dear Friend. Hugs to Greg, Jesse and Mikayla. So many special times we had together over the years....at work and beyond. I will so miss your "Spirit", Jenny. Hugs. Angela Hamilton
