My sincere condolences to Bill's family. He tried to teach me to paint once a long while ago at the Senior hall in Lakeville Corner but we both admitted it wasn't my forte. Bill and Dorothy rushed to my daughter's house one evening as I had called them to come see the bluebird that was making a nest nearby. They crept quietly through the house and out on the back deck while the bluebird sat and, I am sure, waited for them. This too was in Lakeville Corner. I will always think of them both with fond memories.

Wow! 100 years - it is amazing that he was able to live in his own home as long as he did. I have such fond memories of both your parents. They were great friends of my parents, Andy & Lelia Dean. Your father was such a smart man especially when it came to nature. I can remember many Christmas bird counts and our fathers comparing notes. So sad that our parents have all passed away. Attached is a page from my Dad’s autobiography, which you may find of interest. I’ll also attach a photo of your parents not sure when or where it was taken. How lucky we were to have such great parents who shared their knowledge and love of nature. Peace out Bill.
