Obituary of Brian Walter Wallace

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Walter Wallace, 68, on September 25, 2024, in Fredericton, NB. Brian was a beloved father, brother, and friend to many. He was born on August 28, 1956, in Fredericton, where he spent most of his life surrounded by family and friends.

Brian was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Wallace, and his parents, Robert “Bob” Wallace and Constance Wallace. He is survived by his children, Gregory Wallace and Pamela Wallace; his grandchildren, McKenzie, Maddison, Victoria, and Daniel; his brother, John Wallace; and his sister, Karen Redekop. He will also be missed by his extended family and all those who knew him.

A devoted family man, Brian’s greatest joys in life were fishing and spending time in St. Martins with his loved ones. Whether casting a line into the water or enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the family cottage, Brian found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, especially when shared with those he cared about.

In addition to his love of the outdoors, Brian will be fondly remembered for his amazing steak marinade, a family favorite that was enjoyed at many gatherings over the years.

A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian’s name to a charity of your choice.

Brian will be forever remembered for his kind heart, love of nature, devotion to his family, and legendary steak marinade.
