The Hodgson family home and our family home were connected by the gravel path joining Folkstone Court and Rochester Street.

So sorry for your loss Anne, Betsy &Jill. May you have many fond memories of times spent together over the years. When I think of John I see him as a teenager at the Forest Hill Rec Centre surrounded by friends, talking and laughing … shooting baskets. Always smiling.

John passing made me realize how much we take for granted, the amount of times at the end of my shift i say “see you later buddy!” Not knowing i will say it for the last time to him soon. The amount of times we had a conversation and he told me stupid stories about dumb stuff he did in High School and life advice he gave me. John wasnt just a co-worker. He was my friend. He was my mentor, he showed me so much during the years and i dont know where id be without him now. He loved his job but he loves his co-workers more. He made it his mission to make everyone his friend. He was more interested in being your friend then your boss which was great because i got to bond with him in a way that i never did with anyone else. He will forever be in my heart. Everytime i go into work he will be on my mind. Rest in peace John

Anne and Family; I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I have such fond memories of growing up in Forest Hill. It seems like yesterday we would all meet at the Rec center after dinner. John had a great sense of humor. He always made us laugh. You and your family are in my thoughts. Jan (Appleby) Gorham

From Terry Comeau (if you see this Anne , please send me your contact info)
I am glad I got to talk with John from time to time at the COOP. He was always a kind and caring person. When my parents got divorced at a young age, it was John that stands out in my mind providing me with a shoulder to lean on taking the time to let me know he cared and offer support. Rest in peace John, you were a special friend and your kindness/frienship will not be forgotten.
