Obituary of Mary Boyle

The family of Mary E. Boyle are saddened to announce her passing on October 7, 2024, at the DECH. Mary was born on February 26, 1929, in Waasis, New Brunswick, to John and Gertrude (Carney) Boyle. She was the last remaining member of her immediate family.

Mary's employment had her working at many well known local downtown businesses over the years, Staples Drug Store and Creghan's, to name a couple, then finishing her working days retiring from Ross Drug on Queen Street. Mary was raised in the Catholic Church and prayed nightly. She loved to spend time with family and you never left a visit without a big hug. She loved giving and receiving cards and flowers and had many friends with whom she always kept in touch.

Mary is survived by her only remaining brother-in-law, Donald Doucette, many, many nieces and nephews, close friends and very special loving neighbours.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her sisters, Greta Grasse, Agnes Philips, Serena Boyle (infant), Loretta Kaley, Mabel Boyle and Vera Doucette, and by brothers Maurice, John, Frederick, James and Charles Boyle.

Mary lived independently until her passing, supported by surrounding love which was reciprocated in every way.

Visitation will take place at McAdam's Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10 am - 12 pm followed by a service beginning in the funeral home chapel at 12 pm. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Mary the family suggests the Canadian Cancer Society, October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
