Obituary of Kathryn Yvonne Hilder

The family is sad to announce the passing of Kathryn Yvonne Hilder at the Dr Everett Chalmer’s Hospital, Fredericton, NB, on October 18, 2024. Born on December 24, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Stephenson) Johnston, and wife to the late Rev. Harold Hilder.

Kathryn is survived by her children, John, Bruce, Ruth Buckingham, Peter, and Robert and their families.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kathryn was predeceased but her son, David and infant sister, Geraldine.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at McAdam’s Funeral Home. Interment at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Saint John will take place at a later date.
