Obituary of Michael Alvin Karl Randall
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Michael “Mike” Alvin Karl Randall, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 52 at his home in Lincoln New Brunswick, after a long and lengthy battle with leukemia.
He was born in Oromocto NB on November 27, 1971, to Alvin and Christine Randall.
Mike will be sadly missed by his loving daughter Laura Paul (Isaac), and his grandson, Malik, whom he adored. He is also survived by his partner, Nikita Sode; his faithful dog, Milo; mother, Christine Randall Barkhouse; brother, Carman Randall (Melanie); nephew, Dustin; aunts, Celia Burns and Margaurite Dodds; uncle Peter (Bonnie) Cameron; several cousins, and great friends John Lindsay and Roy Martin.
Mike Graduated from Oromocto High School and went into trucking. He was a long-haul driver, driving all over Canada and the US. We all used to love the stories of what he saw and did on those trips. After getting sick he stayed close to home working for a few companies, then working out of his garage doing body work.
He loved being home close to his family. He especially loved his brother's cooking. He would come from the garage and eat then complain that he ate too much and needed a nap. He would do anything to help anyone.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Saint John Regional Hospital, and a special thank you to the extra mural nurses, our angels, who came to the house every day and night.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Burton Lion’s Club on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 1-4pm. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Oromocto SPCA.
