Obituary of Francis Levesque

It is with sadness that the family of Francis Levesque announce his passing, surrounded by his family, on Friday, November 8^th, 2024 at the age of 77. Born in Jacquet River, NB, on September 16^th, 1947, he was the husband of Barb Levesque of Waasis.

In addition to his wife, Barb, Francis leaves behind his daughters, Silvia Keddy, Susan Keddy, Bonnie (Jeannie) Keddy (Joe Spencer), and Crystal Nash (Bill); sisters, Theresa Mazerolle and Jeannette Mazerolle (Chester); 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Francis was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Margaret (Daigle) Levesque; son, Arnie Keddy; sister, Rita Joncas; brother-in-law, Charlie Mazerolle.

Francis was a family man and he loved to spend time with his wife, girls and his large family. He was also an avid sports fan who particularly enjoyed hockey and golf.

The family wish to extend a special thank you to the oncology nurses at the Dr. Everett Chalmer’s Hospital, the staff and volunteers at Hospice House Fredericton, and the staff of McAdam’s Funeral Home for their kindness and caring during this difficult time.

At Francis’ request, there will be no visiting or service. For those who wish, donations in Francis’ memory may be made to Hospice Fredericton.
