To the Atkinson Family:
I was saddened to learn about Mrs. Atkinson's passing. She sure had good innings and what an accomplished person. I write not only about her, but also Bruce, who was a good friend and fellow pilot. I was not aware of his passing in 2019. As my father, Charlie, was also a founding member of the Fredericton Flying Club - and as I was finishing up my Private Pilots Licence at the time, I came into contact with Bruce quite a bit. Also, my father was also a Private Secretary for Hugh John so the Fisher's and the Atkinson's had so much in common.
What a wonderful couple they were - outstanding citizens and gave so much to the community.
Again, my condolences
I sign as Bruce would want me to -

I was so sorry to learn that Carolyn had died. She was such a quiet force and dear friend to both my parents. My mom especially held her in such high regard with memories of a lifetime working together and a strong alliance beyond their government years. Carolyn had a flair for seeing life beyond the obvious and I have no doubt will be missed deeply by all who loved her. Heartfelt condolences to Peter and Jamie and their families.

We were saddened to hear that Aunt Carolyn had passed away! She was always so pleasant and engaging when we saw her at family gatherings. She was very accomplished, but so kind and soft-spoken. We will miss her as we do Bruce. Our sincere condolences to Peter and Jamie and their families.

Met Carolyn and realiazed her skill at the Skyline Acres/Southwood Park Comminty Association as we met to combat the building of Kimble Drive. Always came prepared with a wealth of knowledge. She will be so happy to be with Bruce. May her soul rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of Aunt Carolyn’s passing. I remember her sweet smile and constant concern about family.
When I attended Teachers’ College in Fredericton, I spent the school year with Carolyn and Bruce. She was so kind,
thoughtful and helpful .
After moving to Lachute to begin my teaching career in 1961,I missed her a lot. I enjoyed seeing her when I would return home
In the summer each year.
My sincere condolences to Peter, Jamie and family. May she rest in peace.
