My condolences to you and the family. Dorothy was the first one I seen when I come in for my interview.. I knew from then that I loved her and she would be my friend. I told her Friday morning that I would see her when I got back off my days off. I had a feeling that would be the last day so I kissed her and told her I loved her. Your mom is now with your dad and will forever be happy. I enjoyed meeting you and hearing story's of Dorothy. Take care and if you need anything I am here%u2764%uFE0F%uD83D%uDE4F%uD83E%uDD85

I was sadden to learn of Dorothy's passing. I first met your mother through her volunteer work at the Provincial Archives. Over the years, we became friends. We attended many performances at the Playhouse together and travelled to the Magdalen Islands. We enjoyed many laughs, good food, and a few glasses of wine. I will always remember Dorothy's zest for life, her inquisitive mind, friendly manner, and devotion to her family. She will be very much missed. My sincere condolences to you and your families. Dear Cathy, David and Jacie...My heartfelt sympathy sent to you and your families at this time. Your parents and Tim and I spent many happy times together over garden walks, dinner tables , university gatherings, etc. Our conversations always included new of all the children and their accomplishments. Your parents were important to us, and to you most particularly. They loved you dearly and I know you and the grandchildren have been left with wonderful memories to treasure. Your dear parents are both now resting in the arms of God and in peace. With love to you, Carole Dilworth

I had the pleasure of working with Dorothy at the Archives, where she was a skilled, knowledgeable, and utterly dependable volunteer. I learned a great deal from her and admired her focus and attention to detail. We also had some very interesting conversations. Although they will never know it, she left a legacy that will keep generations of genealogists busy. My deepest sympathies.

We are so sad to hear of Dorothy's passing. We met Dorothy in 1959 when Jim and Geoff worked in the same laboratory as graduate students at UBC. We had great times together along with John and Bev McInerny. In 1963 Geoff moved to UNB and four years later when Geoff moved to Manitoba Jim replaced him on staff at UNB. So we share a long history and until very recently had exchanged news and greeting at Xmas with Dorothy. We always enjoyed Dorothy's company and later her letters. It was sad when they stopped in 2018.Both Jim and Dorothy were great friends. We send our deepest shmpathy.
