Obituary of Robert Joseph Comeau

On Sunday, February 7, 2021, Robert "Bob" Comeau, dear son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly in Fredericton, NB, at the age of 64. Robert was the first-born son of Joseph and Lise Comeau of Greenwood, NS. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces for a dozen years, including a posting to Germany in the 1980s, and eventually settled in Oromocto and Fredericton, NB, where he was a taxi driver for over two decades. His family and friends remember him fondly as a friendly, cheerful and good-natured person with a kind heart and a wonderful sense of humour. Robert is survived by his mother, Lise, his brother, Serge, his sisters, Dianne and Joanne, his niece, Danielle, and his nephew, Matthew. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph. Memorial donations made to The Fredericton Homeless Shelters in honour of Robert would be greatly appreciated. We would like to acknowledge Dr. Ginn, the nurses and the support staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital stroke ward for their kindness, care, compassion and professionalism during Robert's brief stay.
