I remember Glenda well from the Fredericton Pony Club and she was a great resource when I took on writing a newsletter for the club. I remember too, giving her a turtle for her garden pond. It took off and crossed the road but she brought it back to safety. She was a lovely person with a wonderful sense of humour.
My condolences to her family,
Johanna

Steve and Laura,
Kate and I send our deepest condolences for the loss of Glenda. She was a wonderful friend with a great sense of humour and a generous spirit. It was a privilege to call her friend. We will miss her deeply. I've attached an image of a book, Turtle Time, a sweet story provided by Glenda to our younger daughter Eleanor. Glenda gave Eleanor a book for her birthday for many years, and we treasure these. Turtle remains a favourite of our granddaughters as well! These gifts reflected Glenda's love of good writing and animals both, and her affection for family. We will not forget her.

Steve and Laura, I am so sorry to hear of Glenda's passing. She was such a delightful person, and always made time for a fellow cat-lover at History Department gatherings. I've been in awe of her work on behalf of animal welfare for years. Such a gracious lady, and such a gentle soul. I'll be thinking of you and all her family.

Steve and Laura, I am so sorry to have heard today of the loss of Glenda. She was such a mentor to me as I worked with CARMA both locally and with the Board. Her gentle demeanor was always there no matter what. It was so great to stop by every once in a while for a chat and a cup of tea when I dropped off copies of This England, both sharing the joys of the English countryside. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that she helped so many, both two and four legged.

Our deepest condolences to Steven and Laura on the loss of Glenda. We are glad to see that in the photo, Glenda has her binocular strap around her neck. Glenda introduced Milda to the annual Festival of Nature hosted by the different Nature Clubs in the province. Each year, they would head off together to explore the flora and fauna of NB. They met many interesting naturalists, sampled local beers and always ended with a drop of scotch before bed. Glenda, may you rest in peace. Milda Markauskas and Barry Monson

Deepest condolences to you on the death of your dear wife Glenda. I saw you arrive late at the Christmas lunch at bridge & knew that something was wrong, that you looked so tired and sad and only later knew that your wife was so sick.. My heart goes out to you as you adjust to losing your partner. With deepest sympathy,
