My deepest condolences to Mary Louise's family. Mary Louise was a long time member of Wolf Tree Writers and I remember her lovely poems that she shared with us, especially the one about tulips. She also shared her tireless efforts to research her family history. It was a labour of love. She will be missed.

The flowers starting to poke through the ground got me thinking of her yesterday, not realizing she had passed. She helped to liven up the WolfTree meetings with her reminiscences of earlier times. We missed her since she stopped attending. My condolences to you all.

I am so very sorry to hear of Mary Lou's passing. We first met over forty years ago when working together at a Toronto bookstore, and kept in touch for many years. When my husband and I decided to move our family to New Brunswick in the early 1980's we connected with her once again. She was funny, smart and kind -- a beautiful woman whose fine company will be missed by so many. Sincere condolences to Christine, and to the rest of her family. With thoughts of love from Pat and Edward Joas.

It is difficult to put into words what an awesome friend Mary Louise has been to me. She was fun to travel with a wonderful gardener, loved art, poetry, literature and cared deeply for people. I miss her but am happy to be able to spend some time with Christine who reminds me so much of her caring, fun-loving mother. Those we love never really leave us.
