Obituary of Isaac William Johnson

It is with deep sadness that the family of Isaac William Johnson announces his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, on April 7, 2020. He was born in Little Catalina, NL, on September 12, 1933. Isaac is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Clara (Dalton) Johnson, leaving many beautiful memories for her to cherish forever. He is also survived by his children, Steve Johnson (Una), Karen Butt (Gerald), Brian Johnson (Dorothy), Kirk Johnson (Pearl) and Jodi McQuinn (Brent); brother, Eric Johnson (Olive); brother in-law, Harold Dalton (Gertie); sisters-in-law, Rachel Johnson (Marvin), Madge Laverty (Bill), Roberta Dalton, Betty Butt (Ambrose); daughters-in-law, Liz Johnson, Yvonne Johnson and Nancy Tharpe; grandchildren, Stevie, Laurie, Amanda, Tennille, Adam, Patrick, Justin, Mariah, Kristen, Megan, Catherine, Mallory, Chad, Jenna and Brianna; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Jake, Cooper, William, Lexie, Blake, Isaac and Christopher; as well as a great number of nieces, nephews, and many many friends. Isaac was predeceased by his loving son, Dennis Johnson; parents, Clementine and Lorenzo Johnson; parents-in-law, Ruth and Stewart Dalton. A special Thank You to Care Workers Natasha and Marsha, Extra Mural Staff including Melisa and Heidi, as well as the palliative care staff. God bless you all. Due to the current Public Advisory with regard to the COVID-19 outbreak there will be no service at this time, however, a Celebration of Isaac's Life will be held at a later date. His family asks in lieu of flowers or donations that you simply perform an anonymous act of kindness for a stranger in his memory. "Memories are the hearts way of holding on to those we love."
