Following his retirement from UNB in 1996 Ken served as chairman of the Charter for Business Committee of the NB Duke of Edinburgh Award. He and his wife Donna continued to maintain a residence in Fredericton while spending the summer period at their much loved Oak Bay vacation home and travelling extensively during the winter months.
