Obituary of Violette Marie Edhouse

Violette Marie Edhouse, 97 of Fredericton passed away on Thursday, September 30th, 2021 at York Care Centre. Born in Moncton on June 13th, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Willie & Amelia (Bourque) Cormier. She will be missed by daughters, Gayle Edhouse of Fredericton, Judy McKnight (Norm) of Fredericton, her twin sister Doris Richard of Dieppe; grandchildren, Solomon Standring of Fredericton, Jeff Standring (Michelle) of Saint John, Sarah Standring (Jason Grasse) of Fredericton; great granddaughter, Georgia Grasse of Fredericton. She will be missed by her nieces and nephew and their families. She was predeceased by her brother, Laurie Cormier; sisters, Stella Trites, Jeanette Short and Dorilla Arnold. The family is grateful for the wonderful care Violette received at York Care Centre for the last 7 years. All arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam’s Funeral Home. At her request, there will not be a visitation or a funeral service.
