Obituary of Stanley Porter

The passing of Stanley Porter occurred on October 5th, 2021 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born on August 9th, 1967, in Ontario, he was the son of the late Betty and James Porter. Stan will be dearly missed by his three brothers, David, Wayne and Tommy along with his nieces and nephews; Rachel Roy and her sister Chantal Roy; six grandchildren; his good friend Dee McElroy. In addition to his parents Betty and James Porter, Stan is predeceased by his special friend Wanda Hansen and his sister Roberta. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their kindness and generosity with Stan, as well as McAdam’s Funeral Home for helping the family through this difficult time. In keeping with his wishes, a cremation has taken place and Stan will be reunited with Wanda at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Canadian Mental Health Association.
