Obituary of Beatrice Rose Waggoner

It is with broken hearts that the family of Beatrice Rose Waggoner announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, November 8th, 2021, peacefully in the arms of her mother. Beatrice was born on October 5th, 2021, to loving parents Daniel and Cecilia (Ryan) Waggoner. In addition to her parents, Beatrice leaves behind her sister and brothers, Cosette, Sebastian, and Florian; maternal grandparents, Peter and Suzie Ryan, and paternal grandparents Brian and Anne Waggoner; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. The name Beatrice means " One who brings joy," and she certainly lived out that definition. Born at 4 pounds, with Trisomy 18, a heart condition, and suffering from seizures, the odds were stacked against her from the start, but nobody told Bea that! Each time her fighting spirit saw her through a new day, it was a blessing and a gift to her family. Little Bea enjoyed being snuggled by her parents and favourite NICU nurses, being sung to by her mom and siblings, and greatly appreciated the treat of sucking on breast milk soaked q-tips. Her presence will be immeasurably missed, but her family is comforted knowing their little Saint can now intercede for them in such a special way in heaven. A private Mass of the Angels will be celebrated for family and invited friends at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Parish Church. For those who wish, donations in Beatrice’s memory can be made to Life Canada.
