My heartfelt condolence on the passing of a person who consoled me at a time he himself was travelling to Boston, in search of medical support for his loving wife. I was just 11 years old at the time. My parents were driving Lorenzo and Yvette to their appointment at the same time I had an appointment to be fitted for a body brace. As my parents and I drove home with Lorenzo and Yvette, I cried all the way home for just having received a milwaukee body brace. When I arrived home, I went to my room, in my inability to control my tears. It was Lorenzo who came to offer me support and encouragement in my tender age of 11 years old. This took place while he just returned from a day of doctor appointments in Boston for my Aunt Yvette. Even in his own personal difficulty, he went out of his way for me. I am forever grateful for having him as a source of comfort, in my time of need, while he himself was also in need of comfort for himself and my aunt.

Lorenzo was a kind and generous person. I admired him greatly. I remember how he and my son were clearing a field of stones for St. Francis Church. My son came home, and said, "You know that old guy who's a friend of yours? I had to bust my ass to keep up with him today." Not long after, Lorenzo visited me in the hospital and said, "You know that skinny kid of yours? I had to bust my ass to keep up with him." He was a delightful person to spend time with. I will miss him.

Yvette & Family, We are sad to hear Lorenzo passed. He was always so Happy & of course singing. Lorenzo & Gerry did a major renovation for us. He had done other jobs and we called Lorenzo and he showed up the next day at our house which was News Years Day. That didn't matter to him. He was so dependable & from the old school. He was back the next day to start the renovations and it was a six week job. He always did beautiful work. Never had to worry. He would always yell when it was coffee break and I would do that twice a day and made sure they had sweets with the coffee. He always had us laughing with his stories. The last time we saw him was at the church breakfast and he never changed a bit. While we ate , Lorenzo was in the kitchen singing loudly! He will be missed & his singing too! Our Thoughts & Prayers are with the family. Rest In Peace Lorenzo.

Dear Yvette, Ritchie and Kim In 1970 I began my teaching career in Upper Lincoln and began my relationship with the Fabro family. You were all such an important part of my 6 years in Lincoln. Skip ahead to the year 2000 and we reconnect as Lorenzo and Ritchie build our retirement home along the Nashwaak. We continue to enjoy our wonderful home and it's even more special because of who built it for us. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy as you deal with the loss of a wonderful husband and father. Sincerely, Heather (Horncastle) and Rick Akin

Lorenzo was a Wonderful Man. He was always smiling and glad to see you and even if he was running late to a meeting he stopped for a quick chat. He Loved his Family and children. He and his crew built an addition on our house on the Nashwaak and made it our Dream Home. We would often miss the children gone only to find the outside playing ball with the carpenters but they scurried back to work quickly. We would see Lorenzo at the "Y" when our daughter was in dance and he would chat with Matthew and I then off to his meeting. He spoke of his love for cooking, we would often hear him singing as he worked and he was quite the story teller but most of all a very generous man and worked along side is workers with respect and pride. He spoke often of stories from "the old country" and his family time there. We lost our beautiful home and our son Matthew in 2004 and Lorenzo felt our loss. His stories and remembering him will live on and he will always bring a smile to your face. If he knew you he would never forget you. The world was a Better Place with him in it...RIP Our Dear Friend; we will carry your Memory on. With Much Love, Lana, Ross and Lindsay Forbes
