Obituary of Fraser Joseph Chase

It is with great sadness that the family of Fraser Joseph "Joe" Chase announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, December 2, 2021, after a brief illness. Joe was born May 10, 1944, the son of Beatrice Coy and the late Fraser Chase. He is survived by his daughters Jo-Ann Donald (Greg) of Millville, NB, and Kim Hird (Peter) of Yoho Lake, NB; sons Darren Chase (Trish) of Summerside, PEI, and Mitch Chase of Lower Hainesville, NB; sisters Bonnie McCutcheon (Mike) of Killarney, NB, and Debbie Dunphy (Frank) of Noonan, NB; brothers Kevin Chase (Karen) of Noonan, NB, and Dale Coy (Vicki) of Pepper Creek, NB; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and a special friend Brenda Verrill. Joe spent his early years working as a chef and in later years for the Department of Transportation. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. For anyone who knew him, we ask you to see him out of this world in proper Joe fashion and raise a glass in his memory. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
