Obituary of Robert James White

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" James White on February 21, 2022 at Windsor Court. Born on November 30, 1928, he was the son of the late William and Emma (Nunn) White, and the loving husband of the late Hannah (McBurney) White. Bob will be dearly missed by his son, Kevin (Wanita); grandchildren, Andrew White, Jeremy (Heather De Cleer) White and Patrick White; great grandchildren, Daynah Hall and Calum White; sister, Helen White; daughter-in-law, Barb Murray-White, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was predeceased by his son, William; infant granddaughter, Chelsey White, as well as many brothers and sisters. The family wish to extend their gratitude to Dr. Kevin Christie, his staff and associates for their kindness and care of Bob. Also, a special thank you to all the staff at Windsor Court for their care, compassion, and helping in making Bob feel like Windsor Court was truly his home. A viewing will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, in the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Kelly Burke officiating. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
