Obituary of Brian David Bourque
It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Brian David Bourque on April 4, 2022. Born in Fredericton, on June 24, 1970, he was the son of the late Abel and Wanda (Kern) Bourque.
Brian was a light that shined brightly. He had a wit that could turn anyone’s day upright and have you in tears from laughing. His fellow co-workers at Home Depot, from the last 16 years, knew that if they needed a laugh, just go talk to Brian. He also worked at Sobeys for 10 years. Wherever he was, the people around would enjoy his company. Brian will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his brother Kevin Bourque in Bangkok Thailand, a maternal aunt Margret Kern, a paternal uncle Elie Bourque, many beloved cousins, and many friends, including his close friends, Diane Johnson, Charles and Penny Mancini, William Fallon, Jennifer Burkhart, Steve Donovan, Scott Corey and Cindy Irving.
A visitation took place on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at McAdam’s Funeral Home from 2 pm – 8 pm. A graveside service will take place in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Cemetery on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 1pm, with Fr. Charles Udeh officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. For those who wish, donations in Brian’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
