The family is saddened to announce the passing at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on May 7, 2020 of Frances Desormeau (Lee) of Andrews of Charlottetown and formerly of Fredericton and Saint John, N.B. Predeceased by her loving husband, Leonard (2010). Cherished mother of Nancy, Ottawa, Ont.,Elaine Somerville (Jason Moffatt), Charlottetown, PEI, Susan Piche (Bernard) , Calgary, Alberta and Diane McKenna (Barry) , Desable, PEI. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Susan Allen (Doug), Gastonia, North Carolina, Mark Somerville (Cathy), Crofton, Maryland, Natalie Piche ( Ryan Campbell), Calgary, Alberta, Alana Piche ( Allen Pughe), Vancouver, B.C., and Robert Peppard ( Lauren), Reading, England. Beloved great-grandmother to Michael and Mark Allen and Sophie and Drew Somerville. Also survived by close nieces. "It is in giving that one receives". This best describes Mom whether it was knitting children's mittens for those in need, baking for others, helping the elderly, or donating to woman's shelters and other organizations. Mom and Dad had a life-long passion for camping, especially with their dear friends, Becky and Ern Hiscott. This instilled a love of the outdoors and travel of their four daughters. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McAdams Funeral Home, Fredericton, N.B. and the Belvedere Funeral Home, Charlottetown, PEI. There will be no funeral by personal request. Interment will take place at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredericton, N.B. If desired, donations may be made in Mom's memory to a charity of your choice. Rest in Peace, Mom
