Dear Mrs. Kingston & Family, We were so saddened when we learned of Al's death. He was a mentor and good friend to our son, Colin White, from Reach for the Top days. All the students on the Reach Team loved Big Al as they called him behind his back. He was a dear friend to Colin until Colin's death 4 years ago. I would like to think they have met up again. Nothing will be the same without him, but everything is so much better because of him. You will all be in our prayers during this sad time in your lives. Shiela WW

Mr Kingston was my home room teacher in grade 9 at Albert Street School. He was a wonderful teacher who instilled in me a love of learning French. Although an Anglophone he went above and beyond to make learning another language challenging but fun. He also instinctively new how to manage a class which could sometimes be rowdy so that there was a calmness in his classroom. I truly enjoyed having had him as a teacher.
