Obituary of Fred Richard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph Frederick "Fred" Wayne Richard at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 12, 2020. Fred was born in Moncton, NB, to the late Mildred and Alfred Richard. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Liz). He will be greatly missed by his daughter Michelle Koftinoff (Dan), three Grandsons; Ryan, Cody and Evan. He is survived by his 2 sisters; Lynn Leger Richard of Moncton, NB, and Betty Whittingham (Jack) of Kingston, Ont. He had several friends and will be greatly missed by all. Fred spent 30 years in the Airforce and he had several postings during his career. After his 30 years in the Airforce, Fred was employed at Kent building supplies for 20 years. Fred also played in a band for several years and he loved playing his guitar at home. At Fred’s request there will be no formal services. Donations may be made to the Lung Association or a charity of your choice.
