To: Roy's Family Saddened to learn of Roy's passing. It's been several years since I last spoke with him during one of his visits back to Lewisporte. We lived a short distance from one another and lots of good memories growing up playing together and sometimes the odd fisticuff as happens between friends and also cousins.and in later years lots of stories to tell playing hockey together. We had lots to reminisce about when we met on his trips home. It was always a pleasure as we chatted and laughed about the "good old days". Roy was a fine person who loved to talk about his family . Rest in peace, Poppy. I'm sorry we didn't get to see you and visit you more growing up. I'll always remember you surprising us at Aunt Jacqui's house and going swimming on her rooftop pool.
