Obituary of Heide Tina Grobe

Heide Tina Grobe, 51, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Melbourne, Florida on May 19, 2020. She was born in Livingston, N.J., lived in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Sackville, NB before moving to New Maryland in 1978. A 1986 graduate of Fredericton High School, she earned a BSc from McGill University and a Nursing Doctorate (ND) from University of Colorado, Denver. Heide was employed as a nurse and case manager with Genex Corporation, Lake Mary Florida. Her clients were workers’ compensation patients. Before moving to Florida, she worked in the Baltimore/Washington area where she did acute case management with patients in clinical settings and via telephone consultation for American Healthways, Kaiser Permanente and Prince Georges County Maryland Department of Health. Heide served on the Board of Temple Beth Sholom, Melbourne for 6 years doing youth, membership and music activities. Heide was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was smart, intelligent and outspoken, strong in body and in spirit, a feminist. She loved literature, learning and music. An accomplished singer and flautist, she sang in the Central Maryland Chorale and played in the Space Coast Flute Orchestra. Heide is survived by her husband Eric Perlman and daughters, Eliana and Rachel Perlman, Melbourne; parents Cary and Sydelle Grobe and brother Isaac, New Maryland; in-laws Gerry and Janet Perlman, Phoenix, Arizona; relatives and friends throughout the US and Canada. Interment has taken place in Melbourne. For those who wish to make a charitable donation honouring Heide’s memory, her husband and daughters suggest Temple Beth Sholom (5995 N.
